Art treatment for VR.

Psyop approached me to develop this art treatment for a VR e-commerce experience, in which the user would navigate an underwater world where everything was made out of clothing.

I think my affinity for marine biology really helped out here and it was fun coming up with ways to turn clothing and bedding into animals. Turning tuxedos into penguins was an obvious choice, and the fine fabric and patterns of doily are perfectly analogous to jellyfish. I love whalefish and their huge cavernous mouths and realized they could be convincingly conveyed with open pillow sheets. Gloves, shoe strings, and tied sheets further added to the cast of cloth biology, resulting in a vibrant, lively and washable world.
