The City of 2031
VBI creates sustainable solutions in construction, which allows them to create very lightweight, low-cost strong concrete that can span wide surfaces with fewer support columns, thus allowing more flexibility in a building's plan during its lifetime.
For this infographic we wanted to visualize this dynamic modularity with floating platforms that switch between different kinds of users: a building can start out housing an office, but then be turned into appartments, then into schools, etc. This modularity is accentuated with a blue grid that is a nod to VBI's visual identity.
